MS Dhoni arrived in Ranchi for the 3rd ODI against Australia amid a rousing reception where fans turned up in big numbers to welcome their local hero. The former Indian captain turned driver for his team-mates as he took them for a ride in his swanky Hummer and then hosted the entire team for dinner at his home. Amid all the celebrations, fans realised that the 3rd ODI between India and Australia could also be Dhoni’s last international match on home ground.
With two more ODIs remaining in the series, Indian cricketers will begin preparations for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 which will be followed by the ICC World Cup 2019 to be held in England and Wales. Since his arrival in Ranchi, Dhoni has been the highlight and the former Indian captain also obliged some of the fans with selfies and autographs after practice on Thursday. While batting, Dhoni tried hitting some big shots as the BCCI also posted a video where some of the other members of the Indian team were also seen hitting big shots.
