She’s just a 14-year-old: Ajay Devgn reacts to daughter Nysa being trolled on social media

As a nation obsessed with stars, it doesn’t come as news that Bollywood stars and their kids are under constant scrutiny. But while fans shower them with love and wish each time they venture in something new, the same fans take no time in turning to trolls, as and when they like. Just a few months back, Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s 14-year-old daughter, Nysa, was subjected to merciless trolling after a certain airport look of hers surfaced on the internet.

Months after the trolling incident, Ajay has now opened up about the same and has also expressed his opinion on the rising paparazzi culture in India. Sharing that the kids shouldn’t pay the price for their parents being famous, Ajay told Hindustan Times, “She is just a 14-year-old and I feel, at times, people forget that and talk rubbish. She was wearing such a long shirt and she was also wearing shorts. Now because of the length of the shirt, her shorts weren’t visible and the kid got trolled for that. ”

The actor, who is occupied with work commitments, also shared that no child is okay with paparazzi and they want their space and not dress up every time they have to leave the home. He has been quoted as saying, “I don’t know what kind of people these are and because of them, we are paying the price.”

Urging the paparazzi to leave the children alone, Ajay told the publication, “I request the paparazzi to at least leave the children alone. Why are they paying the price for their famous parents? I don’t think any child is okay with paparazzi. They want their space. They want to not dress up every time they step out, so it’s very sad when such things happen.”

On the film front, the actor, who was last seen in the multi-starrer Total Dhamaal, will next star in Akiv Ali’s De De Pyaar De alongside Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu, Om Raut’s Taanaji – The Unsung Warrior alongside Saif Ali Khan and SS Rajamouli’s RRR, co-starring Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan and Jr NTR.
