‘MS Dhoni goes wrong but you can’t say that to him,’ Kuldeep Yadav makes sparkling revelation

The dust has started to settle down with regards to the conclusion of the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 edition. As a result, the cricketing fraternity is now waiting for the much-awaited ICC World Cup 2019, to be held in England and Wales, to commence soon. The Indian cricketers have shifted focus and attention towards the marquee event. Without a doubt, there will be several players who will be the key for Team India. One among them is Kuldeep Yadav.

However, speaking on the sidelines of CEAT Cricket Rating Awards on Monday evening, the chinaman bowler made a striking revelation about former skipper MS Dhoni. It goes without saying that the 37-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman is known for his astute leadership skills and game awareness. He uses the same to assist Kuldeep, especially when the youngster bowls the crunch middle-overs in limited-overs.

Time and again, Dhoni has passed on his words of wisdom and Kuldeep has followed his instructions without fail. But, Kuldeep revealed that the veteran goes wrong with his tips many a time as well. “There are a lot of times he (Dhoni) goes wrong but then you can’t say that to him. Zyada baat nahi karte woh (he doesn’t speak much). He speaks only between overs if he thinks he needs to point out something,” pointed out the 24-year-old.

The duo will soon take on the field together when India open their campaign in the forthcoming World Cup. The Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team will commence their campaign versus South Africa on June 5 at The Rose Bowl, Southampton. Despite Dhoni going off on a few occasions, he will once again mentor Kuldeep, and Yuzvendra Chahal, in the upcoming showpiece event.

While Kuldeep was last seen in action during Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) ordinary IPL season, Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ended runners-up in the just-concluded edition; losing to Mumbai Indians (MI) by a run in the final at Hyderabad.
