Need to change lifestyle to save environment: CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has appealed to change lifestyle and give important contribution in making world a better place to live in. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing district-level conference of Lions Club International District-G-2 here today.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that social organisations should cooperate in Beti Bachao Abhiyan. The State Government is starting Girls’ Parents Pension Scheme. Society can bringing about significant changes by joining hands with the government. Social organisations should assist in changing people’s mindset. In democracy, all arrangements are for serving people effectively. Meaningful life is that which comes handy for others. The Chief Minister appealed to make Madhya Pradesh pioneer state of the country.
At the programme, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan released Sushri Shruti Malviya’s book focusing on Beti Bachao Abhiyan and magazine “Abhyadoot”. Social activist Shri Ashok Mehta also addressed the function. Shri Atul Shah threw light on the club’s activities. Shri Shyam Bihari Bhargava delivered the welcome address. Shri Raju Manwani, Shri Anandkant Bhatt, Shri Prakash Seth, Shri B.S. Jain, Shri C.L. Goyal, Dr. Saras Jain and Shri Rajesh Jalori were also present on the occasion.
