Thousands of Bhopalis and Jamatis from across the globe prayed Namaz e Janaza for Shahar Qazi Bhopal
BHOPAL (PTI): Maulana Qari Syed Fazil Qasmi Sahab, current Qazi e Shahar passed away due to a sudden heart attack on Sunday night.
Qazi Sahab was at the Ijtema site till evening and also took part in a meeting of Islamic clerics after the Namaz e Maghrib (evening prayer).
When reached home he complained of uneasiness, following which, his family members rushed him to a private hospital, he was declared brought dead.
Fazil Sahabi had assumed the charge of Qazi e Shahar of Bhopal in April 2010, after the death of Qazi Abdul Lateef Sahab.
Fifty two year old Qazi Syed Fazil Qasmi Sahab is survived by wife, a son and daughter.
The funeral was carried out at Jhada qabristan after praying Namaz e Janaza for Qazi Sahab at MVM ground Monday evening.
Thousands of people attended the Janaza Prayer last evening. As it was the last day of Aalami Tablighi Ijtima, people of Jamats arrived here from several places also attended the prayer.
CM of MP Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Minister Babulal Gaur and other arrived to Qazi Sahab house to pay the homage.
