Harsud to be developed as model town

Bhopal: Tribal Welfare Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah has said that Harsud in Khandwa district will be developed as a model town. He directed officers for planned development of the town. The Tribal Welfare Minister was addressing a function at Harsud on Friday. He also sanctioned Rs. 1.50 crore for town’s development and Rs. one crore for girls’ hostel.
The Tribal Welfare Minister said that new building of Nagar Panchayat will be constructed soon. He directed to chalk out a proposal for construction of staff quarters on the building premises. Kunwar Shah said that a community hall will also be constructed in the town. He instructed Nagar Panchayat officers to take initiative to increase the local body’s revenue. The Tribal Welfare Minister announced construction of a modern gymnasium and library at Harsud.
Youths should come forward to participate in creative activities
Addressing students at Government College, Harsud, Kunwar Shah exhorted them to enthusiastically participate in creative activities. He lauded Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad for organising blood camps. Kunwar Vijay Shah said that opening of polytechnic college will disseminate technical education upto the village-level. He informed that soon a 250-seat ITI will be started at Ashapur or Kheri.
