Rathore Not to Press Charges against Attacker

Former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore, who was attacked with a knife outside a Chandigarh court yesterday, has said that he will not press charges against the assaulter, reported CNN-IBN.

Rathore was yesterday attacked by twenty-nine-year-old Utsav Sharma from Varansi when Rathore was coming out court.

Sharma, who is a student of film production in Ahmedabad, has been staying in Panchkula for the last one month.

In the attack, Rathore was injured and soon rushed to a nearby hospital but returned to court later.

The police had lodged an FIR against Sharma.

Rathore was at the court on Monday for an in-camera trial.
