Panel on Dantewada Massacre Indicates Command Level Failure

The probe panel on Naxal attack on a CRPF contingence in Dantewada has submitted its report to the home ministry, indicating command level failure, said media reports.

According to reports, the ministry will ready an action taken report and also start action against the officers who were held responsible by the panel headed by former BSF DG E N Rammohan, reports said.

Reports said that the ministry had already summoned the Dantewada SP in the connection.

About 76 CRPF men were killed in the worst Naxal attack that took place on April 6. The report was submitted on Saturday, indicting a number of officers.
