Water Resources Deptt. to spend over Rs. 308 crore on 18 works

Bhopal: Water Resources Department will spend Rs. 305 crore 38 lakh 35 thousand on 18 works in 12 districts of the state. Maximum Rs. 159 crore will be spent on Jhabua district’s Mahi project.

Engineer-in-Chief Shri S.G. Chaubey informed that Rs. 159 crore 51 lakh 89 thousand will be spent on pucca works, canal construction, lining, remolding etc. for 45 km long Mahi left main canal and its distributary canal measuring 80 kms in Jhabua district, Rs. 89 crore 12 lakh 46 thousand various constructions works under Sanjay Sarovar project in Seoni district, Rs. 15 crore 24 lakh 84 thousand on earthwork, pucca structures’ repair, CC work and RC bridge on Deora Talaab’s main dam and canal in Khargone district, Rs. 13 crore 82 lakh 44 thousand on 43 pucca works of Gurh-Mauganj lift irrigation scheme under Ban Sagar Project in Rewa district, Rs. 10 crore 08 lakh 96 thousand on construction of dam/canal under Mukuchh and Patpara tank scheme in Panna district, Rs. 3 crore 97 lakh 48 thousand on construction of complete dam of Amwahi reservoir in Damoh district, Rs. 3 crore 66 lakh 16 thousand on construction of Kankariya Chand Barrage in at Tarana in Ujjain district, Rs. 2 crore 89 lakh 69 thousand on RCC channel construction upto 22nd chain of Machak sub-canal of Tawa left main canal in Harda district, Rs. 1 crore 86 lakh 97 thousand on Mardanpur lift irrigation sub-station, laying of 1020 KVA lines, HT connections etc. in Hoshangabad district, Rs. 1 crore 11 lakh 91 thousand on mini Nimi minor construction of Purwa main canal in Satna district from RD 0 meter to 1260 meters and head regulator RD.860.35 meters, remaining works of RD 94.65 to 96.36 of Purwa main canal etc, Rs. 88.41 lakh on construction of Ranawa barrage in Rajgarh district and Rs. 53.90 lakh will be spent on sluice gate railings, ducting, terrestrial assembly’s supply and fabrication etc. of Lower Sinhawal canal in Bhopal district.
