Condolence meeting marks 29th anniversary of Bhopal gas tragedy

Bhopal: A condolence meeting marking 29th anniversary of Bhopal gas tragedy was held at Barkatullah Bhavan, Central Library here today.

Representatives of Sanatan Dharm, Islam, Sikhism, Christianity, Jainism, Buddhism and Bohra sect recited their Holy Scriptures at the meeting in the presence of Chief Secretary Shri Anthony de Sa. A 2-minute silence was also observed to pay tributes to deceased of the gas tragedy.
Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief & Rehabilitation Minister Shri Babulal Gaur, Shri Aslam Sher Khan, Shri Ashok Jain Bhabha, Principal Secretary Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief & Rehabilitation Shri Praveer Krishna, distinguished citizens, public representatives and senior officers of various departments were present on the occasion.
