One More Taken into Custody in Ajmer Blast Case

In connection with the bomb blast in Ajmer dargah, one more person has been taken into custody by the ATS of Rajasthan police, said media reports.

The ATS picked the accused Chandrashekar in Shahjahanpur of Madhya Pradesh on Friday, reports said.

He is second person to be arrested in the case as another accused Devendra Gupta was also taken into custody on Friday in Ajmer.

Court has remanded him to 12 days in police custody, said reports.

According to police, Gupta purchased the SIM cards for the mobile phone, which triggered the blasts on October 11, 2007.

He is alleged to have links with the Hindu hardline outfit Abhinav Bharat.
