NCP Will Never Forge Alliance with Shiv Sena-BJP: Bhujbal
NCP Legislature Party leader in Maharashtra Assembly Chhagan Bhujbal has said that his party will never forge a truck with the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance for the sake of power.
Bhujbak made this statement while talking to reporters in the temple town of Pandharpur after offering prayers on the occasion of ‘Kartiki Ekadashi’..
His comment came following an interview of senior party leader Ajit Pawar to a national daily in which he said that he was offered chief minister’s rank by the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance if break away a faction and join them.
Meanwhile in Mumbai, Senior Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi said that the saffron alliance was not averse to Ajit Pawar’s name since NCP and Sena-BJP under Ajit’s leadership have ruled the Pune Municipal Corporation for many years.
He said NCP will have to snap ties with the Congress before talks of a fresh alliance can happen.
