New Delhi: Refusing to clear the aura of confusion over induction of Navjot Singh Sindhu in AAP, His wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu, severed the speculations by saying that he is yet to take a final call.
“Sidhu is away in US for a motivational lecture with a corporate firm. His primary job is that. We are yet to take a final call on joining any party,” Kaur said.
Distancing herself, BJP MLA Dr. Navjot Sidhu told reporters to wait for him to speak on whether he will join AAP or not. In no mood of spilling the beans she also informed that she was not a part of the meeting between cricketer turned politician- Navjot Singh Sidhu and AAP convener- Arvind Kejriwal held on August 14.
“Sidhu will clear the air (on joining AAP) in a week or so… Let’s wait for him to speak out”, said Dr. Navjot Kaur.
Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal said that Sidhu has not put any pre-conditions on joining the AAP. In a series of tweets, the AAP leader also praised Sidhu and said his respect for him would continue whether he joins the party or not.
