Chief Minister announces increase in honorarium of Anganwadi Sahayikas

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said in the Ladli Bahna Sammelan in Sidhi that rakhi is not a bond of raw threads but of affection and intimacy. My life’s aim is the welfare and development of women. If i manage to transform the lives of my fellow sisters, me being a CM will be a success Under Ladli Bahna Yojana, Rs one thousand is being given to the sisters every month, the scheme has increased the respect of the sisters. This is not a ritual but a social revolution. The amount of the scheme will be increased to Rs 3 thousand. During his stay in Sidhi district, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of a medical college and 100-bed hospital at Rampur Naikin. The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone and dedicated construction works worth Rs 156 crore.

The Chief Minister announced the formation of Municipal Council in Semaria, making Hanumangarh sub tehsil a tehsil and opening of CM Rise School in Gijwar. The Chief Minister announced the implementation of Lift Irrigation Scheme for irrigation facility in 35 villages of Patpara area. The Chief Minister said that now the fee in Lok Seva Centre will be Rs 20 instead of Rs 40. The honorarium of mini Anganwadi center worker has been increased from Rs 6500 to Rs 7250 and the honorarium of Anganwadi assistant has been increased from Rs 5750 to Rs 6500.

The Chief Minister said that I am running a family and not a government. Under Ladli Bahna Yojana, Rs 1,000 is being given from Gwalior on 10th September. The sisters will get Rs 1250 every month from October. It will be gradually increased to Rs 3 thousand. A Ladli Bahna Sena has been constituted in every village. This Sena will help in implementing the government schemes. Efforts are being made to increase the income of the sisters of Self-Help Groups to Rs 10,000 every month. Children coming in merit list have been given scooties and they have been given bicycle, scholarship and Rs 25,000 for computer. The government will pay the fees of the children of every poor family for admission in higher education institutions. Residential land pattas will be given to all landless families. Those poor families who have not got the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be given pucca houses from the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana.

The Chief Minister said that the government will pay the bills of poor families who have received higher electricity bills till August 31. Rs 8 thousand crores are being given for this. Sidhi district and state will be developed with public co-operation. The Chief Minister also distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes. Ladli Behna Sena greeted the Chief Minister with a huge rakhi, performed kanya-pujan and showered flowers on the sisters. On reaching the venue, the Chief Minister was welcomed with traditional Shaila dance and Gudum Baje.

Member of Parliament Smt. Reeti Pathak said that Chief Minister Chouhan has given numerous huge gifts to Sidhi district. Today the medical college has been given as a great gift. MLA Sidhi Kedarnath Shukla said that today the Chief Minister has given such a gift to Sidhi district in the form of a medical college, which was far from imagination. This is a huge achievement for Sidhi district.

Sidhi district in-charge and Tribal Affairs Minister Su Meena Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Ajay Pratap Singh, MLA Sharadendu Tiwari, Kunwar Singh Tekam and District Panchayat President Smt. Manju Singh were also present.

Jan Darshan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, was welcomed by the people of Sidhi with slogans, sound of drums and dances. They raised slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande-Mataram in the Jan Darshan, flowers were continuously showered on Chief Minister Chouhan and his Vikas Yatra continued to move ahead with the huge crowd.`

Ladli Bahna Sena, Ladli Laxmi daughters and common people welcomed at various places

Chief Minister Chouhan began the Jan Darshan by paying homage to the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at Ambedkar Square near the Collectorate. He worshipped at Phoolmati Mata temple and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. During the Jan Darshan, Ladli Laxmi daughters, Ladli Bahna Sena, youths, various social organisations, employee organisations and people of the communities welcomed the Chief Minister with flowers and garlands.

Gift of development works worth more than 176 crores

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gifted people of the district a 100-bed civil hospital, Medical College in Rampur Naikin along with many construction and development works. In the programme, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of 12 works worth Rs 165 crore 74 lakh and dedicated 7 construction works worth Rs 10 crore 53 lakh.

Number of medical colleges will rise to 31

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan performed Bhoomi-Pujan at the proposed site for the medical college in Sidhi at village Naudhiya. The CM said that today is a day of huge rewards for Sidhi district. Today Sidhi is being endowed with the gift of medical college. With this high-level treatment facilities will be available to Sidhi district as well as the entire vicinity. Today, with the fulfillment of a long-standing demand, justice has truly been done to Sidhi. With this the number of medical colleges in the state will rise to 31. Till the year 2003, there were only 5 medical colleges in the state. With the establishment of this college in Sidhi district, additional 100 MBBS seats will be available every year for the students of the state.

Chief Minister Chouhan also laid the foundation stone of 100 bedded Civil Hospital Rampur Naikin costing Rs 24 crore 8 lakh 84 thousand. The CM honoured the daughters by performing Kanya-Pujan in the ceremony. On reaching Sidhi, the sisters of Ladli Bahna Sena welcomed the Chief Minister with Kalash and shower of flowers at the helipad.

Chief Minister flagged off vehicles of Yuva Annadoot Scheme

Chief Minister Chouhan flagged off the vehicles of Mukhyamantri Yuva Annadoot Yojana. Mukhyamantri Yuva Annadoot Yojana is being run with the objective of ensuring timely availability of food grains to the beneficiaries of the districts from government fair price shops and to provide self-employment to the youth beneficiaries. 18 youth of the district have benefitted from the scheme.

Benefits to beneficiaries

During the programme, the Chief Minister presented certificates from the stage to Sharda Singh, the beneficiary of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana and Subhi Keshari, the beneficiary of Mukhyamantri Ladli Laxmi Yojana. Cheque of Rs 8 lakh was provided to Manoj Patel under Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, Rs 6 lakh each and bank linkage to Ram Self-Help Group Jamodikala and Anushka Self-Help Group Chorgarhi of Bank Linkage Group and Rs 06 lakh to Shyamkali Saket for bank linkage, individual enterprise. Under the Mukhyamantri Awasiya Bhu-adhikar Yojana, leases were given to Munna Kol and Ramratan Saket. Ramashankar Saket and Upendra Kumar Dubey were given Ayushman cards.
