LS Adjourned for Day after Uproar on Telangana, Price Rise
Opposition parties made uproar in Lok Sabha on Thursday over a variety of issues ranging from Telangana to price rise to Women’s Reservation Bill, causing its adjournment for the day.
The trouble began as soon as the House met for day’s proceedings. The House saw two adjournments during the pre-lunch sitting. While the Question Hour was adjourned for 15 minutes following uproar over the two issues, the House was adjourned for two hours during Zero Hour.
When the Lok Sabha met again, four members from TDP stormed into the Well of the House carrying placards saying, “We want united AP”. They were soon joined in by S K Bwismuthiary (BPF) demanding separate Bodoland.
