Kingfisher Airlines will be prosecuted: Aviation minister
NEW DELHI: Aviation Minister Ajit Singh told that Kingfisher Airlines is liable for prosecution of the non payment of taxes. He said the entire responsibility to save the Airlines will lie on its chairman Vijay Mallya.
He further added, “Vijaya Mallya has to convince DGCA (directorate general of civil aviation) that he is in a position to operate an airline … The onus is on him”.
The Kingfisher has submitted a new flight plan. They will operate about 125 flights with about 20 planes in a day chief executive Sanjay Aggarwal said on Tuesday.
While they have cancelled all of their international flights till April 10.
