Jat community agitation came to an end

CHANDIGARH: On Saturday after completing three-weeks, agitation by Jat community seems to be ending. After written assurance by the Haryana government they were preparing to clear the railway tracks.

They were demanding reservation in government jobs and want to get included in other backward classes i.e. OBC.

According to reports the agitators were preparing to clear the railway tracks after they were satisfied with the assurance from the state government of looking into their demands.

The leaders of the agitating community said they have been reassured that their demands will be met and government notifications to that effect will be out soon.

The leaders had held discussions with representatives of both state and Central governments.
