Cong marches Raj Bhawan to protest telephone snooping

The Congress on Thursday took out a march to Raj Bhawan and submitted a memorandum to the Governor seeking the removal of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and a Supreme Court-led probe into allegations of telephonic snooping.

The march, led by PCC chief Mohan Markam, began from the party headquarters and was stopped by the police on G.E. Road. From there, a delegation including Markam and Ministers Premsai Singh and Kawasi Lakhma among others went to meet the Governor.

The Congress activists raised slogans against the Modi government including “Pahle lada tha goron se, ab ladenge choron se”.

A couple of activists dressed themselves like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. They pretended to have binoculars for spying.
