SC Judges Put Assets in the Public Domain

In the first ever move of its kind and one that is sure to fillip the image of the judiciary, the judges of the Supreme Court, including Chief Justice of India KG Balakrishnan, voluntarily listed assets held by them and their spouses on Monday.

The details of the assets have put in the public domain through the Supreme Court website.

The description of the properties has been divided into four categories — immovable assets, shares and investments, movable properties, and liabilities.
