ECI to review election preparations on October 28-29

Bhopal: Chief Election Commissioner of India Shri V.S. Sampat, Election Commissioners Shri H.S. Brahma and Dr. Naseem Zaidi, Deputy Election Commissioner Shri Sudhir Tripathi, Director Generals Shri P.K. Dash and Shri Akshay Raut will arrive at Bhopal on October 28. They will leave Delhi for Madhya Pradesh at 3.15 pm reaching Bhopal’s state hangar at 4.45 pm. Shri Sampat and other officers will hold a meeting with representatives of 6 recognised national parties at Hotel Jahan Numa Palace at 7.30 pm.

On October 29 from 9 am to 2 pm, the Election Commission will review election preparations at a meeting with divisional commissioners, IGs, district election officers/collectors, DIGs and SPs at Narmada Bhavan. The commission will hold a meeting with the Chie Secretary, Principal Secretary Home and DGP from 3.45 to 4 pm. After a press briefing from 4.30 to 5 pm, the Chief Election Commissioner and other officers will leave for New Delhi.
