Several decisions in Shivraj cabinet meeting: Creation of posts for Niwari; Contract appointment rules changed

Several decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday. For the newly formed Niwari district, the proposal to make 9 out of 12 posts of different cadres available through redeployment from Tikamgarh district and creation of 3 new posts was approved.

The cabinet decided to establish a proviso after rule 11 (3) of the Madhya Pradesh Civil Posts Contractual Appointment Rules, 2017. According to the amendment, ‘Provided that the state government may relax the condition of giving one month’s prior notice as mentioned above or giving one month’s salary in lieu of it in a specific case.’ Explain that according to the provision of Rule 11(3) of the Rules-2017 for contract appointment on civil posts, during the contract appointment, either of the two parties can terminate the contract appointment by giving one month’s prior notice or depositing one month’s salary. Extension of the post of Rehabilitation Commissioner till June 30, 2027. The cabinet has decided to extend the tenure of a temporary post of Rehabilitation Commissioner from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2027. Along with this, from the financial year 2023-24, the officers-employees working in the BCO Rehabilitation Commissioner’s Office will be given the BCO of Chief Revenue Commissioner Revenue Department. Will be merged in 0709.

The cabinet approved the order issued by the General Administration Department on April 8, 2022, as per the instructions of the Chief Minister regarding the formation of Tribal Cell in Raj Bhavan.
