Sanjay Dutt admitted to Lilavati hospital after complaining of breathlessness; Tests negative for coronavirus

Sanjay Dutt has been admitted to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai after complaining of breathlessness. The actor tested negative for the novel coronavirus and has been kept for observation in non-Covid ward at the hospital. If Sanjay Dutt’s condition improves on Sunday, he will be discharged from the hospital. Earlier in the day, Sanjay Dutt complained of breathing issues.
Sanjay Dutt is currently living in Mumbai alone while his wife and two children are stuck abroad due to the coronavirus lockdown.
He was last seen in Panipat in which he played the role of Ahmad Shah Abdali. Sanjay Dutt is now awaiting the release of his upcoming film, Sadak 2. Directed by Mahesh Bhatt, Sadak 2 will stream on Disney+Hotstar on August 28. The film also stars Pooja Bhatt, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur in pivotal roles.
Sadak 2 was scheduled to hit the silver screens in July this year. However, due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the film’s release had to be deferred. Finally, the makers opted for an OTT release.
Sanjay Dutt is also thrilled about his role in KGF: Chapter 2. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film features Yash, Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles. Sanjay Dutt will be playing the role of antagonist Adheera in the film.
In an earlier interview, he compared his role to Thanos from Avengers. KGF: Chapter 2 was slated to release worldwide on October 23. Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the film has been postponed. An official announcement is still awaited.
