Fourteen School children killed in a Road accident

HYDERABAD: Fourteen school children are reported to killed when a accelearting bus veered of the road and fell into a pond.

S.A. Huda, state director-general of police said that 14 bodies are fished out from the pond by local villagers.

Volenteers and police are able to rescue some of the childrens. Their are about 40 childrens in the bus when it crashed said Huda.

The Bus driver lost the control of Bus to avoid the head on collision with a motor cycle.

The Raghavpuram is about 250 kms east of Hyderabad.

India has highest road death toll with about more than 110,000 people dying each year in accidents commonly caused by speeding, overcrowding and poor vehicle and road maintenance.
