Four Cops, Three Maoists Killed in Orissa; Gunbattle On between Police and Rebels

A gunbattle is on between police and Maoists in Narayanpatna region of Orissa, said reports.

Reports said that nearly four police personnel were killed in a landmine blast triggered by the rebels near Narayanpatna.

Consequently, police retaliated with heavy gun fire. In the encounter, three Maoists, including a senior Maoist woman, were killed.

Maoists also blew up a mobile phone tower in Malkangiri in Orissa.
