Feeder Separation works going in Full swing

BHOPAL: The government is fully committed to ensure 24 hour supply in Village and rural areas.

This will improve living conditions of villagers; 24-hour supply of power will boost cottage industry and intensify commercial activities in the rural areas.

This also increases capacity of electricity pumps. For this purpose, feeder separation work is going in full swing.

The government has taken loans worth Rs. 1721 crore from financial institutions and Rs. 1944 crore from Asian Development Bank (ADB). The first phase work will be completed up to December 2012.

The second phase work will be expected to complete by March 2013. The government has provided about Rs. 485 crore for second phase to power distribution companies.
