Stone pelting on BJP’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Neemuch

Attack against Cheetah project, 6 accused arrested; Home Minister said – Kamal Nath was provoking for months

Some people pelted stones at BJP’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday. About 100 to 150 people came in front of the Yatra. BJP leaders tried to convince them for a long time, then suddenly stone pelting started on the Yatra. It is being told that the villagers had collected stones on the road. In this attack, the glass of the vehicles involved in the yatra were broken. In this matter, Home Minister Narottam Mishra said in Rewa on Wednesday – Kamal Nath was doing the work of provoking for many months. They had said that there could be stone pelting like in Manipur.

Additional SP Naval Singh Sisodia said that the police have named 19 people as accused. Till now 6 accused including Bherulal have been arrested. On the basis of the video, unknown people will be identified and they will also be made accused.

The incident occurred at around 8 pm on Tuesday night in Rauli Kudi village of Rampura area, 75 km from the district headquarters. The reason for the attack on the Yatra is also being said to be protest against the Cheetah Project. The Forest Department is fencing the forest under the Cheetah Project. The cattle of the villagers are not being allowed to move. The villagers are furious about this.

Stones were pelted at BJP’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Neemuch. The glasses of many vehicles were broken in this.

Yatra in-charge Kailash Vijayvargiya, Finance Minister Jagdish Deora, Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav, Banshilal Gurjar and Manasa MLA Madhav Maru also accompanied the yatra. BJP leaders allege that Congress has carried out this attack.

Kailash Vijayvargiya told ‘Our journey was moving forward. The Yatra received a warm welcome in Manasa and Rampura. In Rawali Kudi village ahead of Rampura, some people complained to the forest officials about not allowing animals into the forest. We assured them of solving the problem and moved ahead, then 15 to 20 people started pelting stones raising slogans of Jai Kamal Nath. We didn’t understand what was happening. By the time the police could stop them, the glass of many vehicles broke.

BJP state president VD Sharma alleges that Congress criminals and goons pelted stones at the yatra. Congress is nervous about the immense public support the Jan Ashirwad Yatra is getting. The Yatra was attacked with planning by hiding behind the trees. It will be answered. Such goons will not spare people. This act of Congress is unfortunate. I strongly criticize it. The journey will proceed with more success. This hooliganism will not be allowed to continue at any cost.

Whatever was given to the public, the public is ready to return it with interest.

On the incident of stone pelting on BJP’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra, Kamal Nath said that even after harassing every section of the society, Shivraj government feels that the public will not throw stones at them but will shower flowers on them. Whatever has been given to the public during the 18 years of rule, the public is ready to return it with interest.

Kamal Nath also said by tweeting that I understand the public sentiments very well, but still I request the respected people of Madhya Pradesh to keep the protest in a democratic manner and let the court do the work of punishing the criminals.

Cheetah project cause of controversy

The area where BJP’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra was attacked falls in the Gandhisagar sanctuary area. It is being told that an enclosure is being prepared here for the Cheetah Project. Ever since the wire fencing work for this project was started, a situation of controversy started arising.

Animal husbandry villagers are angry with the wire fencing. They feel that after fencing there will be no land left for grazing the cattle. Hundreds of families will face livelihood crisis. Due to this, villagers have been protesting from time to time. Along with this, people’s representatives and the administration have also been giving warnings by giving memorandums.

No opposition to Cheetah project: BJP District President

BJP District President Pawan Patidar told Dainik Bhaskar that there is no opposition among the villagers regarding the Cheetah Project. Their demands were already accepted. There were some problems, their solutions were also asked. The villagers did not lodge any complaint regarding this issue even during the Chief Minister’s visit to Manasa. This type of attack is politically motivated to some extent.
