Water lifting scheme has been realized in impossible area: CM Chouhan

Gift of two irrigation projects worth Rs 1328 crores to the farmers of Nimar on innaugration of Vikas Parv Bhilat Dev Lok will be built in Nagalwadi

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated Nagalwadi and Pati micro lift irrigation projects built at a cost of Rs 1328 crore 75 lakh to the people of two districts of Nimar during the  inaugration of Vikas Parv at Nagalwadi in Barwani district today. While addressing the huge gathering, Chief Minister Chouhan said that the demand made by the local public representatives in the year 2018 has been fulfilled today. The state government has made the resolution of providing water to impossible areas a reality. It was impossible to transport water from the canal in the hilly areas, so we lifted the water up and carried it to the fields. It also my resolve to ensure continous efforts to bring prosperity in the lives of the farmers. While giving another gift to the people of Nimar, Chief Minister Chouhan announced to establish a Lok for Lokdev Bhilat Dev in Nagalwadi. He instructed the administration that a team of experts should be made to visit soon to prepare its framework.

Animal Husbandry Minister Prem Singh Patel, In-charge Minister Hardeep Singh Dung, Rajya Sabha MP Sumersingh Solanki, former Labor Minister Antar Singh Arya, former Minister of State for Agriculture Balkrishna Patidar, former MPs Subhash Patel and Krishnamurari Moghe along with Public representatives of Barwani-Khargone district were present.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the concept of CM Rise School has been started to provide quality education to the children of weaker sections. Libraries, excellent labs, school buses for commuting and smart classes have been made in these schools. Smart classes are also such that if needed, teachers from cities like Delhi and Bombay can also be connected.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the government is not lagging behind in encouraging the students. This year, students who have secured 75 percent marks in class 12th will be given an amount of Rs 25 thousand for laptops on July 20. Scooty will be given to school topper students. Regarding employment, Chief Minister Chouhan said that the recruitment process is going on for one lakh posts. Apart from this, 50 thousand more posts will be recruited. Along with this, the work of benefiting the youth through self-employment is also being done continuously.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that daughters will not be allowed to become a burden on the soil of Madhya Pradesh. So far, there are 47 lakh Ladli Laxmis in the state, who will start getting Rs 12 thousand 500 by the time they come to the college. Daughters have also been made equal partners in politics. Daughters were given a chance to contest elections on half the seats, so today many of our sisters have become mayors and many others district panchayat presidents and janpad presidents. Apart from this, if someone buys land, house or shop in the name of sisters, then 1 percent stamp duty will be charged on it. At the same time, 30 percent recruitments in the police will be of sisters.

With the two projects dedicated by Chief Minister Chouhan today, 49 thousand 423 farmers of 147 villages of Khargone and Barwani districts will get the benefit of irrigation on 52 thousand 940 hectare area. Nagalwadi and Pati micro lift irrigation projects have been completed at a cost of Rs 1 thousand 328 crore 75 lakh.

In the Vikas Parv programme in Nagalwadi, Chief Minister Chouhan provided Rs 2 lakh 92 thousand to Bajrang Goyal of Nagalwadi for reaper cum binder machine of Agriculture Department, Rs 1 lakh 9 thousand to Kamal Kishore Kushwaha for power winder machine, provided a benefit of Rs 98 thousand 800 to Shobharam for reversible plow machine. Along with this, bank loans of Rs 23 crore 94 lakh were provided to 970 self-help groups. Apart from this, vehicles were distributed to Jitendra Chouhan, Kirta Vadvi, Mohsin Khan, Pradeep Chouhan and Mukesh Chouhan, the beneficiaries of CM Yuva Annadoot Yojana. Kekadia Munnalal, Rohit Babulal, Smt. Sunita Babulal, Kailash Mangilal were also benefited under the Chief Minister’s Farmer Loan Waiver Scheme.
