Samsung Galaxy A20 launched in India: AMOLED display, ultra-wide camera, Android Pie, and more

Samsung has announced the Galaxy A20 in the Indian market. The Galaxy A20 is the fourth smartphone in the Galaxy A series which has been launched this year. The Samsung Galaxy A20 is a part of the affordable A-series range of smartphones. Samsung had already released the Galaxy A10 and A50 earlier, and now the Galaxy A20 has been launched. The A20 has been priced at Rs. 12,490 and will be sold in a single version only.

The Samsung Galaxy A20 features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display which gets a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. The display of the Galaxy A20 gets an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The Galaxy A20 is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7884 octa-core processor. The smartphone gets 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The internal storage is expandable up to 512GB via microSD. The Samsung Galaxy A20 runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

The Samsung Galaxy A20 sports a dual-camera setup on the rear panel and a single lens setup on the front for selfies. The rear camera gets a primary 13-megapixel sensor which gets an aperture value of f/1.9 and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor with an aperture value of f/2.2 for depth control and taking portrait shots. The rear camera gets LED flash, panorama, and HDR. The selfie camera is an 8-megapixel shooter with an f/2.0 aperture value.

The Samsung Galaxy A20 gets other features like active noise cancellation with a dedicated microphone. The A20 supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct, and hotspot features. Other features that the Galaxy A20 gets are Bluetooth v4.2 with A2DP, GPS, GLONASS, FM Radio, Fingerprint scanner, and will be available for sale in two colours – Blue and Black. The Galaxy A20 packs a 4,000mAh battery and gets a micro-USB port for charging.
