Mangalore Crash: Black Box Badly Damaged, Have to Be Sent to US

The black box and cockpit voice recorder of ill-fated Air India Express plane which crashed on Mangalore airport are badly damaged, said media reports.

According to reports, it will not take a long time to know about from what the mishap resulted as both the devices have to be sent to the US for decoding, reports said.

Only an investigation committee can take a decision to send the devices to the US, which has yet not been constituted, said reports.
