Cong, NCP Men Clash in Navi Mumbai
Police used mild force to disperse an unruly crowd after Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) workers clashed in Navi Mumbai during the civic polls on Sunday, say reports.
Activists from the two parties, allies in the Maharashtra government, alleged bogus voting and began pelting stones at each other.
Some 25 workers from both parties were taken into custody.
The Congress and the NCP are pitted against each other for 89 seats in Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections.
