Chief Minister Chouhan said that, along with Charan Paduka, drinking water bottles, sarees and Rs 200 being given for umbrellas under Charan Paduka Yojana. I run a family, not a government, it is my duty to take care of the family. To ensure that thorns do not prick the feet of my brothers and sisters, shoes and slippers are being given to them. No stone will be left unturned to change the lives of the people. No dam will be built without public consent, no one will be deprived of land.

Chief Minister Chouhan dedicated and performed bhoomi-pujan of development works worth Rs 182 crore in Dindori district. He distributed tendupatta bonus worth Rs 47 crore 71 lakh to 1 lakh 69 thousand 422 collector families of Dindori, Mandla, Jabalpur, Katni and Anuppur. Under the Aahar Anudan Yojana, an amount of Rs 27 crore 60 lakh was transferred through a single click to more than 1 lakh 84 thousand women of Baiga, Bharia and Sahariya tribal category.

Union Minister Faggan Singh Kulaste, Forest Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, former Minister Omprakash Dhurve and other public representatives were present in the programme. Chief Minister Chouhan had a Jandarshan before the Jansabha. A large number of people participated in the Jandarshan and greeted Chief Minister Chouhan.

It is the duty of a brother to relieve the sorrows and sufferings of his sisters

Chief Minister Chouhan said that to ensure that his sisters do not have tears in their eyes and there are no troubles in their lives, we have made the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. I am not the Chief Minister but the brother of my sisters. It is the duty of a brother to relieve his sister’s suffering. One thing came to my mind that giving money to the sisters once a year will not work, hence we have decided to put money every month in the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. I am the Ladla Bhai of 1 crore 32 lakh sisters. Now the amount has been increased from Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,250, in future it will be further hiked to Rs 3,000. I will not let my sisters worry about money for their daily requirement. Receiving money has increased the respect of the sisters in their family. I have not given you money but your rights and respect.

Money will be given to build a house

Brothers and sisters left out in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be given money to build houses under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Awas Yojana. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is giving 6 thousand rupees for Kisan Samman Nidhi, the same amount is being given by the state government. In this way farmers are getting Rs 12 thousand in a year. The Prime Minister is giving free ration. In case of illness, treatment is being provided through Ayushman card. Mama is paying the fees for medical, engineering and law colleges. Children are being given bicycles when they pass Class 5th and 8th and go to another village. CM Rise Schools are being built. Laptops are being given to class 12th students if they score 75 percent marks. An initiative has been taken to give scooties to three girl and boy students who top in their school.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that under the Nutrition Food Grant Scheme, the hiked sanctioned amount of Rs 1500 is being paid to the special backward tribes Baiga, Bharia and Sahariya sisters. A campaign is being run to change the lives of the people. Under the Mukhymantri Charan Paduka Yojana, Chief Minister Chouhan provided slippers to Rama Bai and shoes to Bhaddu Lal. He also presented a cheque of the tendupatta bonus amount to Siya Bai and Ganesh.

Tribal Awards

Chief Minister Chouhan honoured the people of tribal category who have done remarkable work. Rani Durgavati Award to Smt. Sampatia Uike, Budhpal Singh Thakur was given Veer Shankar Shah Evam Raghunath Shah Award, Dr. Tapas Chakma was given Thakkar Bappa Award, Rajaram Katara was feted with Jannayak Tantya Bhil Award, Late Rajaram Vaskle (posthumously) was awarded Badal Bhoi Award and Smt. Seema Alava was given Jangan Shyam Samman.

Forest Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, while giving the welcome address, said that the work of taking forward the schemes for the welfare of the poor is going on in the state. Farmers, labourers, tribal brothers and sisters are being given various benefits by the Forest Department. They have got a good price for Mahua produce.
