Cong Appeals Everyone to Cooperate in Andhra to Encourage Development

After formation of a five-member expert committee on Telangana, Congress has said appealed to everybody concerned to extend their cooperation so that governance does not suffer in troubled Andhra Pradesh, reported PTI.

“Andhra Pradesh is a beautiful and progressive state. It will be in the best interest of the state if students went to schools and colleges and focussed on examinations. Everyone should cooperate,” law minister M Veerappa Moily, who is incharge of party affairs in Andhra Pradesh, was quoted as saying.

Moili said that rule of law should be encouraged and neither government should suffer nor development should hamper, said report.

The minister hoped that soon a decision would be taken on the terms of reference of the group, said report.

His appeal came against the backdrop of frequent bandhs and violent protests in the state, especially in the Telangana region, over the issue of separate statehood.
