Rahul Gandhi went to London last month. There he said in a program that Veer Savarkar has written in one of his books that he along with his 5-6 friends beat up a Muslim and enjoyed the fight. This is an insult to Savarkar.

Satyaki said – Rahul Gandhi’s statement is false and malicious

Satyaki said that Rahul Gandhi raised the subject of Savarkar during his interaction with the Indian diaspora in London. Speaking about the incident, Rahul Gandhi had asked whether it was not an act of cowardice. First of all, let me tell you that this incident narrated by Gandhi is fictitious. No such incident had happened in the life of Savarkar, a man of scientific temper.

He believed in democracy. He advised the Muslims to adopt a scientific approach. Rahul Gandhi’s statement about VD Savarkar is false and malicious. He did it on purpose to insult.

After this attempt to defame Savarkar, we have decided that we will not remain silent. VD Savarkar has not written such things in any book, so let it come to the court that in which book did Rahul Gandhi read this incident. He claimed that we have a video of Rahul Gandhi making this statement and it will be produced in the court.

Satyaki Savarkar said that his lawyers have approached the court with a complaint under sections 499 and 500 of the Indian Penal Code. The concerned court official was not present, so they asked us to come again on Saturday.
