Celebrities reach to Pataudi town for a last glimp of ‘Tiger’
PATAUDI, GURGAON: At the ancestral village of Nawab Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi, the Haryana government has made excessive security arrangements to manage the crowd when people come to see the legendary cricketer who breathed his last breath on Thursday.
Also a team of commandos has been deployed to regulate the rush of fans. Besides, senior officials of state police stationed at the village.
On Friday morning when Pataudi’s body was brought here from hospital, fans and villagers from nearby areas thronged Pataudi’s village. Crowds tried to barge into the Pataudi palace to catch one last glimpse of their last Nawab.
The presence of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan inside the building added more enthusiasm in the fans to see them.
Several VIP’s from the Bollywood and the cricket world reached to the Pataudi’s place for the funeral.
He would be forever remembered for leading India to their maiden Test series triumph abroad, died on Thursday at Ganga Ram Hospital due to an acute lung infection at the age of 70.
