Buddha, Mamata Accuses Each-other of Truck with Maoists
The verbal dual between Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banjerjee and West Bengal chief minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee has deepened with both of them accusing each other of having a nexus with the Maoists.
Targeting Bhattacharjee, Mamata Banerjee said: “I think that the Marxists and the Maoists are both sides of the same coin. They are working together.”
She called him “both a Marxist and Maoist with a double face”.
In turn, Bhattacharjee charged that the Maoists and Trinamool Congress are working together.
“The Maoists and the Trinamool Congress are working hand in hand with each other in the state,” he said, addressing party workers at the Howrah district party office.
The Union Railway minister alleged that the CPM was running the government with the help of the Maoists. There was no difference between the violent activities of the Maoists and Marxists, she told reporters on Sunday.
