BJP Ready to Re-align with Trinamool for 2011 Assembly Polls in WB

A senior BJP leader has said that the party is ready to align again with the Trinamool Congress to take on the CPM-led Left Front in the 2011 assembly elections in West Bengal.

“The Trinamool Congress was with us and I believe they may side with us to uproot CPI-M rule in this state,” BJP’s National Executive Council member, Tathagata Roy told reporters in Cooch Behar.

In response to a query, he alleged that musclemen sheltered earlier by the CPI-M had joined the Trinamool Congress and were unleashing terror on both the Marxist party and the BJP.
