New Delhi: Once the bosom buddy of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, former Rajya Sabha member Amar Singh has made a rather startling remark on Big B in an interview to a radio show by saying that the actor is a coward in real life.
Bachchan who is known for his ‘angry young man’ roles on silver screen too much scares from legal affairs. A simple notice from Income Tax Department or other government departments make him worried,” Singh stated addressing a question related to Panama leaks.
It may be recalled that till a few years back, there was a strong bonhomie between Amar Singh and the Bachchan family. It is assumed that Amar Singh had recommended Amitabh Bachchan to Mulayam Singh for making him Brand Ambassador of Uttar Pradesh. Also, he had lobbied for the nomination of Amitabh’s wife Jaya Bachchan for the membership of Rajya Sabha.
But the sequence of political events has estranged the once inseparable Amar Singh and Mulayam Singh which also hit the bonding between Amar Singh and the Bachchan family.
