Energy Minister reviews development schemes at Rewa

Bhopal. Energy, Mineral Resources and Public Relations Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla reviewed progress of development of Rewa Municipal Corporation at Rewa today. Shri Shukla directed to ensure to provide benefits of the welfare schemes for SCs, STs, poor and weaker sections. He stressed the need for better coordination between municipal corporation and other government departments. The Minister said that pension scheme beneficiaries should not face any difficulty due to human errors or lack of coordination between departments.

The minister stressed the need for more effective implementation of Saadhikar Abhiyan. He said that pro-active action should be taken to identify and provide benefit to beneficiaries under the campaign. He directed for single window system of NOCs under Yuva Udyami Yojana. Shri Shukla instructed to expand Project Swarg of door-do-door collection of waste to all 45 wards in the city. He said that corporators should obtain consent letters in this regard from residents of their wards so that the scheme can be implemented in entire city. He directed to ensure rickshaws ward-wise for collection of waste. The Minister also apprised himself of progress of toilet construction. Shri Shukla said that Clean Rewa is resolve and aim of all. All corporators and officers should discharge their duties earnestly to fulfill this target.

Discussions were also held on Pradhan Mantri Bima Suraksha and Durghatna Bima, Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana, Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Schemes, food, Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana and National Urban Livelihoods Mission. Mayor Smt. Mamta Gupta and Municipal Corporation’s Speaker Shri Satish Soni were also present on the occasion.
