Article 370: BJP’s move nothing but tactic to garner votes, says Min

Hitting out at the BJP, a senior Kamal Nath Cabinet Minister here on Tuesday claimed that now the Congress party would build the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

While talking to media persons at Indore, PWD Minister Sajjan Singh Verma said that whenever given a chance, the Congress party would build Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Commenting on the BJP’s move on Jammu and Kashmir, Verma who is known for his short tempered takes on opponents claimed that BJP was a greedy party and its recent move on J&K was nothing but a ploy to garner votes as Assembly polls in Maharashtra and other states were approaching. “The BJP is only trying to confuse the public,” claimed the Minister. He went on to claim that the BJP could do anything for votes.

To a query whether the BJP would next try to build Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Verma claimed that the saffron party couldn’t build the temple in all these years and the Congress when gets capable would build this.

Treading cautiously the Congress MP unit has not officially commented on the happenings over Kashmir, even Chief Minister Kamal Nath hasn’t voiced his views on revoking of articles 370 and 35A of the constitution as of now.

The Congress party IT Cell also has reportedly asked spokespersons to refrain from commenting on the issue in media unless the party high command specifies an official stand on this.
