CM inaugurates works costing Rs. 3.15 crore at Kaimor

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated and laid foundation stones for works costing Rs. 3 crore 15 lakh at Kaimor in Katni district today. The Chief Minister said that compensation against losses due to hailstorm and excessive rains will be paid soon. At present, one lakh 65 thousand beneficiaries have been identified under Food Security Act. Process to include names will be taken up again by organising camps. Not only this, the government will also ensure implementation of every scheme by organising camps.

On Beti Bachao Abhiyan, Shri Chouhan said that “Beti Hai To Kal Hai”. World cannot move on without daughters. Laying emphasis on girls-related schemes, he said that smart phones will be given to 1.75 lakh girls and boys who took admission in colleges recently. The Chief Minister flagged off Mamta Rath to reduce maternal and infant mortality. Shri Chouhan directed to provide necessary medicines to ensure health of adolescent girls. The Chief Minister also inspected an exhibition put up by various departments.

Shri Chouhan directed to chalk out DPR for Vijayraghavgarh/Kaimor bypass. He announced to release amount for project soon after chalking out of DPR. He announced Rs. 2 crore for construction of piped water scheme at Kaimor, Rs. 2.50 crore for haat bazaar at Vijayraghavgarh and Rs. one crore each to Nagar Panchayats. He sanctioned Rs. 7 crore for drawing water from Mahanadi to Barhi for drinking water supply and announced preparation of DPRs for bus stand etc. at Vijayraghavgarh. He assured to fulfil demands enumerated in memorandum submitted by MLA Shri Sanjay Pathak within 5 years.

District’s in-charge Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla re-iterated commitment to ensure region’s development and promised all-round growth of Vijayraghavgarh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan went round stalls displaying public welfare schemes.

MLA Shri Sandeep Jaiswal, Zila Panchayat Chairperson Kranti Choudhary, Mayor Smt. Rukmini Burman, Pt. Vijay Shukla and large number of people were present on the occasion.
