Amit Shah to annonce new team soon

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah is likely to announce his new team soon, sources said. Opposition Leader in Bihar Assembly Nand Kishor Yadav, R Ashok and Kailash Vijayvargiya are the frontrunners for the post of general secretaries.
Sources said that the BJP will rope in ministers to play the role of party spokespersons as well.
Several posts are lying vacant in the party organisation after the induction of many office bearers in Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government at the Centre.
In the last Cabinet reshuffle, party general secretary Rjiv Pratap Rudi and vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi were made Union Ministers.
Earlier in August last year, Amit Shah had announced his new team which included BS Yeddyurappa, JP Nadda and Ram Madhav. Party general secretary Varun Gandhi had been dropped.
Jagat Prakash Nadda, who was one of the contenders for the party president’s post, has been made general secretary from Himachal Pradesh.

BS Yeddyurappa, former Karnataka chief minister who had been out of the party for a while before he came back into the fold, is one of the vice-presidents.
