History shows not a single Hindu involved in terror: PM Modi

WARDHA: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said Congress, which played the “Hindu terror” card, was now apprehensive of a backlash from the majority community and that is why Rahul Gandhi had decided to contest from minority-dominated Wayanad in Kerala.

Addressing a rally in Wardha, which witnessed a huge crowd despite the scorching heat, Modi claimed no Hindu has indulged in terrorism. “Hindus are known for peace and brotherhood. Nowhere in history will you find they’re involved in such subversive activities. Even the Britishers never mentioned them as terrorists. But former Congress minister Sushil Kumar Shinde (Solapur candidate) made a statement during the UPA regime that Hindu terrorists were behind the Samjhauta blast,” he said.

He claimed Congress was now fearful of the resentment of Hindus.
