Air Force Able to Counter China: Air Marshal Browne
Two days after Air Chief Marshal PV Naik said that India’s air power is 1/3rd of China, the Western Air Command Chief has said that the Indian Air Force has the required capability to counter China.
Just two days ago, Air Chief Marshal PV Naik had termed country’s air force as inadequate.
Both the statements were made in the context of the IAF going in for more acquisitions to enhance its capability.
“Air defences in Ladakh and Punjab are being upgraded,” clarified Browne, adding that special mountain radars are being fitted.
