Advani Warns MPs against “Temptation”

Senior BJP leader LK Advani has warned the party’s fresh parliamentarians against falling into the trap of any “temptation” and asked them to uphold the highest “purity in conduct”.

Speaking in the BJP parliamentary meet, Advani asked the 58 first-time MPs to maintain “purity in their conduct” while cautioning them against falling to any kind of “temptation” offered to them.

It should be noted that though BJP terms itself as a “party with a difference”, but its two senior leaders – former party president Bangaru Lakshman and Dilip Singh Judeo – have been caught on camera while accepting backhander.

Briefing press after the meet, Sushma Swaraj, party’s deputy leader in the Lok Sabha said that Advani also told parliamentarians that errors committed by first time MPs put both them and the party in trouble.

“He said since the BJP follows certain ideologies, the MPs should also follow that in letter and spirit,” Swaraj said quoting Advani.

The BJP would hold a day-long training camp for the first-timers on the issue of conduct where they would be explained ways to avoid such problems.
