Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were restricted to 132/5 in 20 overs against the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Match 33 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Winning the toss and opting to bat, the CSK openers put up their best opening stand as they added 79 runs in 9.5 overs. Shahbaz Nadeem playing his 2nd match dismissed Watson for 31. Faf du Plessis top-scored for the visitors. He scored 45 off 31 balls and his innings included 3 fours and 3 sixes. Suresh Raina, captaining the side in MS Dhoni’s absence, failed to contribute much with the bat as he departed for 13. Kedar Jadhav (1) and Sam Billings (0) soon followed him back at the pavilion. Ambati Rayudu, who came in to bat at number four, and Ravindra Jadeja added 31 runs for the 6th wicket. Rayudu remained unbeaten on 25 whereas Jadeja was unbeaten on 10. Rashid Khan was the most successful bowler for SRH as he claimed 2/17 in 4 overs.
