AAP challenges Modi, Rajnath to to contest Lok Sabha polls from Amethi
New Delhi Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas has challenged BJP president Rajnath Singh and the saffron party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi to contest Lok Sabha elections from Amethi, the constituency of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi.
Meanwhile, the AAP leader compared Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, saying both may be honest but ministers under them were corrupt.
“Just as Manmohan may be honest, but ministers under him are corrupt, similarly Chouhan can be honest but ministers under him are corrupt,” he said.
Vishwas said the BJP, particularly its leader Nitin Gadkari, was floating all kinds of theories about Congress giving support to AAP to form the government in Delhi.
