Every possible assistance to investors: CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that every possible cooperation will be extended to industries for investment in the state. The Chief Minister was giving directives to officers during a meeting with investors here today.
The Chief Minister said that government’s approach to promote investment in the state is totally positive and cooperative. He said that interests of local people will also be fully looked after in investment projects. Local people will get full cooperation from it. He held discussions with officials of Messrs Rio Tinto Exploration India Limited regarding its diamond mining project at Bandar in Chhatarpur district. He also sought information about difficulties being experienced in project’s implementation. During the meeting, discussions were held on mining lease, permission for bulk sampling, upgrading roads connecting with the project, uninterrupted power supply and making available land for plantation.

Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Energy, Mineral Resources and Public Relations Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla, Revenue Minister Shri Rampal Singh, Chief Secretary Shri Anthony de Sa, ACS Finance Shri Ajaynath, Principal Secretary Forests Shri A.P. Shrivastava, Principal Secretary Revenue Shri K.K. Singh, Principal Secretary Industries Shri Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary to CM Shri S.K. Mishra, Principal Secretary Energy Shri I.C.P. Kesari, Principal Secretary PWD Shri Pramod Agrawal etc also attended the meeting.
