Division-level camps for treatment of cancer patients: CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the State Government has launched a number of schemes to ensure that there is no lack of treatment facilities for common and poor people in the state. Division-level camps will be held for treatment of cancer patients. Before holding the camps, patients’ survey will be conducted in villages. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing inaugural function of Navodaya Cancer Hospital here today. Following inauguration, he also went round the hospital’s new building.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that financial assistance is being provided from Rajya Beemari Sahayata Nidhi and Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund so that poor patients do not face funds crunch for treatment of diseases like cancer. Health fairs are being held in all the districts of the state. The State Government is making every possible effort to provide effective health services to people. Private sector should come forward and cooperate in this sector. Treatment of all the serious diseases should be made available in the state so that people do not go out of state for treatment. Healthy body is the medium for following every religion. It is said in our religion that the foremost happiness is healthy body. He said that the institution should be developed in such a way that all the patients’ health is restored. At the outset, Dr. Shyam Agrawal delivered the welcome address.
