Make preliminary assessment of loss of life and crop due to heavy rainfall

The Chief Minister Kamal Nath has directed all the District Collectors to make a preliminary assessment of life and crop damage due to heavy rains, so that compensation could be paid without any delay. He also gave instructions to assess the requirement of fertilizer for Rabi crops.
Deliberating with the collectors through video conferencing in the Jan Adhikar programme at Mantralaya here today, the Chief Minister asked them to send a preliminary report on loan waiver of the farmers. The problem of loan waiver is different in every district. Giving instructions to pay a special attention to the complaints of electricity bills too, CM Nath stated that the complaints of common consumers are related to excessive billing. Such cases should be resolved with priority in the Aapki Sarkaar-Aapke Dwaar programme. He told the collectors to create an atmosphere of accountability in their districts.

Resolve rejected cases of forest rights on their own wisdom
The Chief Minister directed for an immediate review of the cases rejected under the Forest Rights Act for technical reasons and to address the cases with a positive attitude. He said that the eligible families should not be deprived of forest rights pattas due to the technical reasons. Collectors could also rectify technical deficiencies on their own. Accountability of the collectors will be fixed in cases, rejected due to the technical reasons. He said that it is better to help the tribal families on their own wisdom instead of forcing them to bring evidence, so that the cases could be resolved in a positive manner.

Start repairing roads immediately after rain
The Chief Minister has instructed to start repairing the damaged roads as soon as the rainy season is over. He said that work should be started from September 20 and completed by November 20.
In view of the appeal by persons interested in opening and running Goushalas, CM Kamal Nath told the collectors to encourage them. Such institutions and people who want to open Goushalas are coming forward in all the districts. CM Nath told them to move ahead and help them. He told to make a list of officers who have performed poorly and did not resolve the complaints satisfactorily in the CM Helpline 181.
The Chief Minister resolved the cases of several beneficiaries. He resolved the cases of Vivek Tomar of Damoh, Revaram Patidar of Dhar, Smt. Raila Bai of Rajgarh, Ghanshyam Ahirwar of Sagar, Ram Naresh Sahu of Satna, Ajay Baiga of Anuppur and Hanuwant Kushwaha of Betul and gave necessary instructions.

Gratitude expressed to CM for loan waiver of Rs. one lakh 30 thousand
Hanuwant Kushwaha of Betul demanded to connect his village Kola Khapa with a concrete road. He told that due to the river it becomes difficult to step on. The Chief Minister directed to conduct its survey. Kushwaha thanked the Chief Minister on behalf of his family for waiving loan worth Rs. One lakh 30 thousand under the Jai Kisan Fasal Wrin Maafi Yojana. This debt was on his father. He told the Chief Minister that the loan waiver papers had been received from the bank.
As regard to the complaint of Ajay Baiga of Anuppur about not getting ration, the Chief Minister directed the collectors to make a list of eligible people who are not included in the BPL list. He also told to identify such ineligible people who are included in the BPL list. Regarding the case of Ghanshyam Ahirwar of Sagar, the Chief Minister said that all the collectors should submit reports of their respective districts within seven days about the farmers whose loan waiver cases could not be reported online. In connection with Revaram Patidar of Dhar, the Chief Minister instructed to suspend the concerned clerk and conduct a departmental inquiry of the Land Acquisition Officer for delay in providing him patta despite the instructions of the Grievance Redressal Authority.
Chief Secretary S.R. Mohanty and concerned senior officials were present in the video conferencing.
