LS Adjourned over Telangana during Question Hour
Proceedings of Lok Sabha was once again disrupted on Friday over Telangana state and some other issues as TDP and Congress members created pandemonium in the House during Question Hour, resulting in its adjournment for nearly 40 minutes.
Soon after completion of obituary references by Speaker Meira Kumar, TDP members walked into the well with placards saying, ‘We want United AP’ and raised slogans.
Fissures in the Congress on the issue was again seen today with one section of MPs from Andhra Pradesh shouting slogans in favour of ‘Telangana’ and another group in support of a ‘United Andhra Pradesh’.
The pro-Telangana Congress MPs attempted to walk towards the well of the House but were prevented by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and later by his deputy V Narayanasamy.
Later, S K Bwiswmuthiary (BPF), joined TDP members in the well demanding separate Bodoland.
